The inspection covers the most commonly used lifting aids that are used to lift loads. These tools include webbing slings, rouns slings, chain slings, wire slings, lifting beams, chain and lever hoists, shackles, lifting points, magnet lifting clamps and other clamps etc.
It is the employer’s responsibility to ensure that the lifting equipments used by the employees are suitable for work, safe, comply with the regulations and periodically inspected.
We carry out inspections of lifting equipments either on-site at the customer’s premises, or alternatively, the equipment can be delivered to the Vaasa office for inspection.
The inspection of lifting equipments is done based on the customer’s wishes so that the inspection causes as little disruption to work as possible. We maintain and repair lifting aids that require it and, if necessary, replace the lifting aid with a new, similar product.
